Lisendra Marbelia is an assistant professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She obtained her B.Eng. (Bachelor of Engineering) from Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia, M.Sc (Master of Science, European Master Programme in Materials Science) from University of Aveiro Portugal and University of Aalborg Denmark, and PhD (Doctor of Bioscience Engineering) from KU Leuven University Belgium. Her research interests include membrane technology, bioprocess engineering, and wastewater treatment technology. She has been awarded an Overseas Research Grant from Kurita Water and Environment Foundation, Japan, in 2019.
