Chandra Wahyu Purnomo is one of lectures and also a researcher in Ceramic and Composite Laboratory in Chemical Engineering Department of Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. He is also active as a researcher and as a leader at the UGM Centre of Agrotechnology Innovation (PIAT). His research field is the use of natural materials (zeolite, clay and carbon) and solid waste (fly ash, garbage, agricultural waste, geothermal sludge and wastewater treatment) into advanced materials, energy and fertilizers. Currently he is the coordinator of the Indonesian Solid Waste Forum (ISWF).
