BIOGRAPHY
Hanifrahmawan Sudibyo is one of lecturers in Chemical Engineering Department of Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. He received his Bachelor and Master degree in Chemical Engineering of Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta in 2014 and 2015. He officially joined as one of faculty members in 2016. He was awarded the Fulbright scholarship in 2018 by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, to do Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Cornell University (USA) under the direction of Professor Jefferson William Tester.
Focusing on the system approach for sustainable biomass waste treatment, his research goals involve the revelation of reaction pathway of organics and distribution pathway of inorganics in the thermochemical liquefaction of biomass waste at near-supercritical water condition, the discovery of effective process sequences and optimum operating conditions to recover as much carbon and nutrient as possible, and the development of economical process to upcycle nutrients from biomass waste.
