Ir. Agus Prasetya, M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D.
UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA YOGYAKARTA
Agus Prasetya completed his bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering Department of Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1990. He earned his master degree (M.Eng) and doctoral degree (Ph.D) from the University of Queensland. He is one of the lecturers and researchers in the Chemical Engineering Department of UGM. Based on his works, he shows interest in biomass conversion, mineral processing and energy conservation, also waste treatment and utilization. Recently, he developed a method for mercury removal from water through combining the adsorption and phytoremediation process with 90% success rate.
